

Dorothy Mae Frase 98, passed away on Sat., Dec. 28, 2019, with dignity and respect while under the amazing care of the Diamond Ridge Health and Rehabilitaion Center team. She was the daughter to the late Walter and Pearl (Marker) Hetrick, born January 25, 1921 in Pennsylvania. She is survived by her children, Dale (Rhoda) Frase, Margorie Mellor, Lee (Karen) Frase, Fae Richey, Jack (Mary Lee) Frase, Lois Frase; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Frase; her son Ray Dean Frase; sons-in-law Jim Maley, Carl Mellor, Don Richey; beloved companion Hitch, her parents and nine brothers and sisters. Dorothy spent her life dedicated to helping others during her years with the Carrol County Home in which she retired. Her hobbies and interests included watching baseball (GO CUBBIES) and watching football. Later in life Dorothy taught herself how to use a computer and enjoyed communicating with family via email. In her early 90s it was important to her that she learned how to use social media. As we all know, keeping in touch with her family was her most treasured pastime. She always loved to cook. Her favorite food was sweets of all kinds, and of course her daily coffee. She loved to complete puzzles and play card games with friends and family.
