

Dorothy “Dorth” W. Rainear, 88 of Homosassa, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday October 16, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Josephine Paganini.
Dorth was a woman defined by her profound faith, selfless spirit, and infectious sense of humor. She was an extremely active and cherished member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church for over 40 years and dedicated two decades of service to the PEO Organization. She was also a member of the Citrus Board of Realtors for 10 years.
Dorth was known for her sharp wit and was a truly loving and giving person who loved her family fiercely. She lived by the principle of always putting herself last so “those she loved could shine first.”
Dorth was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Alfred Paganini, her sister Irene Paganini, and her three devoted husbands: Bob Wetzel of Pittsburgh, PA, Ray Healey of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, and Waren Rainear of Philadelphia, PA. She also joins her nephew Dennis Sulkowski, her grandson Drew Lalumiere, Her niece Judy Paganini, her brother-in-law Robert Wetzel Jr., and grandson Tony Lalumiere.
She is survived by her loving siblings; her brother Leonard Paganini (wife Joan); her daughter Deborah Healy; her granddaughter Andrea LaLumiere (husband Kyle); her sister-in-law Mary Jean Wetzel; her niece Karen Paganini; her nephews Donald Sulkowski and Anthony Sulkowski (wife Gina), Todd Paganini, Dan Paganini (wife Babs); her great Nicholas Paganini; her great nephew Anthony Jr. (wife Kelsey); her great niece Katie Sulkowski (husband Martin) and their daughter Ellie; her niece Cristy Krumholz; her nephews Lewis Wetzel (Danielle) and Matthew Wetzel (Erica); and grandchildren Emmellia Wetzel, Maddie Wetzel, Elena Wetzel, Evie Wetzel, Stephanie Wetzel, Nicholas Wetzel, Natalie Wetzel and Jacob Wetzel, and Susan Machain (husband James).
Dorth was deeply loved by many cousins and friends who will carry her laughter and love forever in their hearts.
