Edna Omie Head, 90 of Homosassa, FL went to be with Jesus Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at Hospice House of Lecanto. She was a native and life long resident of Homosassa, born Dec. 9, 1920 to the late Edward and Artie (Potts) Strickland.
Edna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Cleveland, TN. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years William Riley Head.
She is survived by her son Lonnie Head and wife Anna of Homosassa; daughter Janice Tibbetts and husband Duane of Homosassa; 2 granddaughters, Lisa Lofley and Tonya Kramer; 4 grandsons, Dale, Keith, Mark and Lamar Head and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Fri., Dec. 2, from 5 pm until 7 pm at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL. Graveside services will be held 11 am, Sat., Dec. 3, 2011 at Stage Stand Cemetery, Homosassa with Bishop Boyd Lawson officiating.
