Elizabeth Ann Coe

Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Coe, age 87, peacefully passed away October 23, 2017 at home in Chassahowitzka, Florida. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chalmers. She is survived by her loving daughter Echo and her husband Michael Rooney; son Jay, granddaughter Cady and Cady’s mother Debi Coe; many loving nieces and nephews and uncountable friends who will all grieve her loss. Betty enjoyed a full and eventful life with her family including several trips in the motor home to Canada and Alaska. She enjoyed attending high school reunions and had been a member of the Civitan Club of St. Petersburg and played many hours of bridge and dominos with her loyal caring friends. She was a lady who always thought of others first. Her career included being a secretary and bookkeeper for the Pinellas County Public Schools, as well as working with her daughter for a law firm. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, 4890 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, Florida, followed by a service at 3:00 P.M.
