Frank R Zimmanck, Jr.

Frank Robert Zimmanck Jr., Age 76, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on April 30, 2026 under the loving care of his family and Cornerstone Hospice in Ocala. Frank was born on February 5, 1950, in St. Petersburg, Florida to Frank Zimmanck Sr. and Helen Zimmanck.

Frank retired as a Nuclear Consultant. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Naoma “Lee” Zimmanck, as well as his parents. He is survived by his brother Gary Zimmanck (Tami) of Lady Lake, FL; sister Vivian O’Dell of St. Petersburg, FL; daughters Leesa Glazier and Patty Drake, both of Homosassa, FL; and son Frank Zimmanck IV (Tami) of Texas. Frank also leaves behind a large and loving family of grandchildren; Brandi Cohen (Cory), Ashlee Stark (Kenny), Carl Shelt (Amanda), Tasha Roderick, Chasidi Drake (Nate Pierce), Austin Drake Gregory, Frank Zimmanck V, and Samantha Brugonone. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Cortavious Cohen, Chelsi Cohen, Kendal Padgett, Brittany Stark, Kaylynne Stark, Colbi Stark, Julius Roderick, Angeleena Roderick, Haylee Pierce, Novalee Shelt and Arah Drake, as well as two great-great-grandchildren, Todney Woolfolk and Conway Washburn.

A Gathering of family and friends will take place at Macrini-Wilder Funeral Home in Homosassa, FL on Saturday May 9, 2026 from 6pm until 8pm.
