BLACKBURN, Freddie D., 82, of Homosassa, Fl. passed away on December 26, 2023. He was born in Pikeville, KY and moved to Florida in 1987. He proudly served in the United States Navy as an ADJ (Aviation Machinist's Mate - Jet Engine Mechanic). He was a member of Hebron Baptist church, enjoyed fishing, and rebuilding cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Arlis (Johnson) Blackburn; son, Douglas (Melissa) Blackburn; daughter, Lucinda (Timothy) Perkins; brother, Mitchell Sesco; four grandchildren, Clayton (Amanda) Blackburn, Carlton (Kaylin) Blackburn, Christina (Brice) Robinson, and Rebecca (Justin) Ellis; and 7 great grandchildren, Daniel Newbern, Raven Blackburn, Rose Blackburn, Levi Blackburn, Joel Robinson, Owen Robinson, and Hudson Ellis. He was loved and will always be missed.
