

Freida King Wilson, 93 of Chassahowitzka, FL died at her son’s home in Crystal River, Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 under the care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County, Born July 6, 1917 in Lecanto to the late William Henry King and Bessie P. (Olliff) King.
Freida was a 1935 Graduate of Crystal River High School and worked for the Corps of Engineers during WWII. She was a retired secretary for West Caost Insurance of Crystal River. Freida was a faithful member of the Lecanto Church of Christ and a member of the U S Navy Fleet Reserve Auxiliary No. 186 of Hernando.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walton Wilson; sister Mildred King Summers and brother Dowel Bishop King.
She is survived by her sons Larry (Leslie) Wilson of Chassahowitzka and Richard (Deborah) Wilson of Crystal River; sisters Wilma King Elmore and Mary King Kuckenbaker both of Ocala; grandson Richard “Grant” Wilson of Gainesville; step-granddaughter Loretta Kinser of Lakeland; 4 step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a. m., Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs with Mr. Foy Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m., Friday until the hour of service.
