Gator Gator Buskirk

Harold J. “Gator” Buskirk III, 38, of Homosassa, Florida and formerly of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Homosassa. Gator, as he was known to everyone, was born July 18, 1978 to Harold J. Buskirk, Jr. and Betty Anne (Winger) Buskirk and moved to Homosassa just a year ago. He was a roofer by profession, most recently with Ryman Roofing, Zephyrhills, Florida. Gator was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Buskirk. He is survived by his sisters Candy Heater (husband Wayne), Homosassa, Florida and Tammy Buskirk, Crystal River, Florida and brother Wayne Compton, Jr. (wife Sabrina), Citrus Springs, Florida and five other siblings: Sandy Peters, Kunkletown, PA; Beatrice Moser, E. Stroudsburg, PA; Terry Buskirk, Bath, PA; Allen Buskirk, Allentown, PA and Ritchie Buskirk of Pennsylvania, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for Gator will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Nature’s Resort Clubhouse, 10359 W. Halls River Road, Homosassa, Florida 34448.
