Helen G. Bachman

Helen Grace Bachman was born in Bicknell, Indiana on Thanksgiving Day, 1923; called home the day after Thanksgiving 2017 to join her husband Robert Jr., mother Madge and sister Rose. Helen and Robert called St. Petersburg home for some 50 years, before retiring to Homosassa. She is survived by her sons Robert III (Bonnie) and Bruce (Nancy) and a loving family who called her "Mimi", including seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Her grace, class and humility were shared with everyone she met. Following Robert's death in 2004, Helen moved to Winter Haven, where she joined the Lake Howard Heights ALF, which she fondly called "my happy home", gaining many new friends and the best caregivers anywhere. She adopted the staff as her own. A private interment will be held in Homosassa at The Fountains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family's wish is that any donations go to the Lake Howard Heights Employee Christmas Fund, 650 N. Lake Howard Drive, Winter Haven, FL 33881.
