

Helen Mildred Butler, 87, of Crystal River, died suddenly on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 in Reisterstown, MD. Mrs. Butler was born Nov. 6, 1924 in Baltimore, MD to Frank and Carrie (Fuchs) Sieminski and came here 30 years ago from there. She was a retired keypunch operator and Greyhound bus agent. Mrs. Butler was a 30 year parishioner of St. Benedict's Catholic Church where she served with the Altar and Rosary Society, the Council of Catholic Women, the Kitchen Committee and also served as a bingo helper. Helen also was a Daystar volunteer, a member of the Red Hat Society and an avid card player. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William James Butler; a daughter, Angela Butler and a grandson, William Thomas. Helen is survived by eight daughters; Janet Thomas (Doug) and Susan Robinson (Jim), both of Crystal River; Theresa Bisker (John), Bel Air, MD; Kathleen Tucker, Reisterstown, MD; Jo Ann Bernard (Barry), Crystal River; Barbara Evans (Dale), Baltimore, MD; Diane Strayer (Dennis), Reisterstown, MD and Mary Zachman, Charlotte, NC; sister Wanda Pritchard, Jacksonville, FL; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat., Sept. 22nd at 10:00 A.M. from St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Crystal River with Fr. Ryszard Stradomski, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa. Friends will be received on Friday, Sept. 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home in Homosassa. www.wilderfuneral.com
