Irvin E. Lovejoy

Irvin E. Lovejoy, 77, of Homosassa passed away on April 9, 2016 with his family by his side. He retired from Merck Pharmaceuticals as the National Fleet Manager. Irvin graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. He was a member of the B.O.P. Elks 2693, Lecanto American Irish Club and the Beverly Hills Fishing Club. Irvin served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. Irv was a true family man and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR fan with Carl Edwards being his favorite. He enjoyed metal detecting, working on his Model A and spending time with friends at the Homosassa Elks Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Nancy at home, son Kevin Lovejoy and his wife Elizabeth of Marietta, Georgia, daughter Kristina Ehmke of Homosassa, Fl., 4 grandchildren Annabelle Ehmke, Isabelle Lovejoy, Alexa Ehmke and Alorah Saffran , several nieces and nephews and many friends. Friends may gather at the Wilder Funeral Home, 4890 S. Suncoast Blvd, Homosassa on Wednesday April 13, 2016 from 4 to 7 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday April 14, 2016 at 10: A.M. at the Wilder Funeral Home.
