

Jean M. Stuckie, 100, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Sunflower Springs Assisted Living in Homosassa. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was born February 14, 1922, the only child to Foster and Emalina (Innocenti) Guidotti. Jean had been a Florida resident since 1948 and moved to Homosassa five years ago from Orlando. Mrs. Stuckie was a lifelong homemaker and attended St. Benedict Catholic Church in Crystal River. Jean enjoyed her volunteer work for a number of worthy causes, but especially loved her days as a Pink Lady at Florida Hospital in Orlando. She loved cooking, going to the beach and most of all spending time with her family, perhaps enjoying a cold bottle of Heineken or a good glass of champagne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles H. Stuckie, Jr. in 1996 and a son, Charles H. Stuckie, III. Mrs. Stuckie is survived by her loving son Mark Stuckie (wife Christine); beloved granddaughters Megan Sumner, Brittney Couch and Melissa “Tink” Stuckie; beloved great grandchildren Tyler, Leevi, Cody, Jackson, Anna, Aubrey, and Joseph and a beloved granddog, Gwynn. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. from St. Benedict Catholic Church in Crystal River with Fr. Ryszard Stradomski, Celebrant.
