Jesse Harvard Thomas Sr

Jesse Harvard Thomas, Sr., 68 of Homosassa died Sun., April 15, 2012 at Tampa General Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1944, a native and life long resident of Oak Grove, Citrus County. Jesse retired as a Journeyman Lineman for Withlacoochee River Electric Co. after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Christian Center Church, a life long Rancher Cattleman, and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse R. and Helen (Thompson) Thomas and brother Ronnie Thomas.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 44 years Donna R. Thomas of Homosassa; daughter Tanya Brown and husband Jimmy of Homosassa; son Jesse H. Thomas, Jr. and wife Shannon of Homosassa; sister Carolyn Stewart of Brooksville; brother John Thomas of Inverness; 4 grandchildren Brian, Joshua, Jesse, III and Kaleigh.

A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held 2 PM, Sat., April 21 at the Christian Center Church with Pastor Marcus Rooks officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
