Johnny F. Raines, 83, of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 5:30 AM during the Strawberry Moon, at Bravera Health Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, Florida. A native of Corona, Alabama, Johnny was born November 6, 1938 to Fred and Obera (Ray) Raines, one of three children. Johnny served his country honorably and proudly as a United States Marine and was a longtime resident of Riverview, Florida. Mr. Raines was a long distance trucking specialist and a lawn care business owner. Among Johnny’s passions in life were fishing and Alabama football. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Morris Raines; and a son, Johnny Raines. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia Raines; daughter Lee Rovinelli and her husband Tom; grandchildren Amanda Yates, Matthew Marshall and Michelle Richardson and six great grandchildren.
