Joseph Michael Antonacci, 72 of Homosassa passed away after a brief illness on January 5, 2011 under the loving care of his family and HPH Hospice. Born in April 15, 1938 in Cleveland, OH, to the late Anthony Antonacci and Angela (nee DiCorpo) Antonacci. He moved to Homosassa in 1999 after retiring from quality control middle management for Parker Hannifin Corp. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved traveling, gardening, golfing and researching family history. He severed our country in the U S Army.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years Jacquelyne Antonacci of Homosassa; nieces Denise Cefaratti Felty and Laura Cefaratti Coreno; nephews Carmen Cefaratti, Mark Shuki and Scott Shuki; great uncle of 6.
Friends will be received from 3 p m until 6 p m, Sun., Jan. 9, at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs, Fl.. A Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 a m, Mon., Jan. 10, 2011 at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, Homosassa with Fr. Ronald Marecki celebrant. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to Hernando Pasco Hospice, 3545 N. Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
