Karl James Eriksson was born on December 7, 1962 in Mineola, New York to Ellen and William Eriksson. His date of death was July 27, 2021. He died of natural causes. He is survived by his three daughters, Kaitlyn, Kassidy, and Kristina, as well as his former wife, Tina. Karl enlisted in the United States Marine Corps right out of High School. When he returned home, he became a Laborer in the Laborer’s Union in New York City. Like his father, he loved being on the water and lived at a marina on a house boat for the last 20 years of his life. He worked at the marina and was known as a hard worker. He was a loyal friend and remained close to friends he had known since High School. He loved his daughters and was proud of all that they were doing. At 6 foot 4 inches, he could look imposing, but small children and dogs were naturally drawn to him. He had a playful heart and always had time to make a child smile. He will be missed by his many friends and his family.
