Marion Imogene Browning

Marion Imogene Browning, 94, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, Florida. A native of West Virginia, she was born June 28, 1927 to Clarence and Geneava Houchins. Imogene, as she was known to many, moved to Citrus County in 1978 from Pinellas County and was a retired waitress. She was a Christian woman who followed the Baptist faith and enjoyed babysitting small children and caring for the elderly earlier in her life. In her spare time, she was always known as a person who made everyone around her happy. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will take place at Wilder Funeral Home in Homosassa on Sat., Sept. 11, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Jonathan Beard officiating. Interment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park in Homosassa. Friends will be received at Wilder Funeral Home from 11:30 AM until time of service. www.wilderfuneral.com
