Mary Catherin Vagnoni, 90 of Homosassa, Florida died Monday, May 23, 2011 at Citrus Health and Rehab of Inverness, Florida. Born September 5, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Hilbert) Danner. Mary moved to Homosassa in 1984 from Centereach, New York. She was a retired supervisor for Reliance Insurance of New York and was a member of the Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Vagnoni.
Mary is survived by her son Francisco Vagnoni of Homosassa; daughters Susan Kuehnle and Ana Barbara Benkert of New York; sister Lillian Kowalski of New York; brother Col Alfred Danner of Eastman, Georgia; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a m, Thursday, May 26 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs, Florida. Burial will follow in Fountains Memorial Park.
