

Michael Andrijiszyn, 77, of Homosaassa, FL, passed away on Thurs., August 28, 2025 at Always There Assisted Living in Citrus Springs, FL. A native of Garmish, Germany, he was born June 15, 1948 to Fedir and Luba (Lukianenko) Andrijiszyn, one of two children. Michael served honorably and proudly for 11 years in the United States Air Force, then he enjoyed a long and blessed 32 year career as a Pastor for Word of Life Church in Alabama, and even held services at his home in Citrus County. Michael met his wife, the former Ethel J. Henley (known to everyone as Jean) in 1991 in Citrus County, then moved to Alabama in 1998, returning to Citrus County in 2019. Michael pursued his passion for the game of golf as a golf pro, teaching others the basic and finer points of the game he loved. He was a professional fisherman and also enjoyed working his farm, tending to all of his beloved farm animals, to whom he was very dedicated.. Michael would begin each day with his cup of coffee, reading his Bible and praying, spending time with God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brad Andrijiszn, who passed away at the age of 14. Mr. Andrijiszyn is survived by his loving wife, Jean Andrijiszyn of Homosassa; daughter Tanya Dabe of Ohio; stepsons William, John and Timothy Harrison, all of Homosassa, FL; eight grandchildren; three of whom live in Ohio and the remaining five residing in Homosassa; seven great grandchildren, all of Citrus County; and his sister, Olga Bosworth (husband Eddie), of Lecanto, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025 at 11:30 AM with Military Honors following at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida, at 2:00 P.M.
