Miriam R. “Mim” Fleming, 87, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Mon., May 30, 2016 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Lecanto, FL. A native of Paoli, PA, she was born Aug. 7, 1928 to Harry and Edna (Eckman) Rothermel, one of four daughters. A lifelong homemaker, Mim, as she was known to many, moved to Homosassa in 1987 from Lisle, Illinois and was a member of the Sugarmill Woods Golf and Country Club and a former member of the Sugarmill Woods Women’s Club. She loved to play golf, was a past volunteer with her husband Stanley for Meals On Wheels, and earlier in life served as a Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Fleming is survived by her husband of 65 years, Stanley E. Fleming, Homosassa and sister Margaret “Peggy” Anderson of Cincinatti, OH.
