Nancy J Bettinger

Nancy Haenel Bettinger, 89, gained her much deserved spot in Heaven on December 4, 2023. Nan was born to Darwin & Ruth Haenel on June 18, 1934 in Syracuse. She graduated from RIT, married and raised her family in Baldwinsville, NY and later moved to Homosassa, FL. Nancy worked at the Lysander Town Office as Deputy Town Clerk from 1983 to 1997. She loved her family, travel, shopping and playing cards. She is predeceased by her parents, sisters Joyce Read (William), Janet Johnston and her sister-in-law Marie Brissenden. Surviving is her husband of 67 years, William, children Dean (Erin) of Belleair Beach, FL, Carol Strzelecki (Gary) of Cicero, Scott of Rochester and David (Julie) of Oakton, VA, brother-in-Law Ramon Brissenden and her beloved grandchildren: Gregory, Matthew, Mackenzie (Ryan), Cormac, Nicole, Brandon & Abbey, and nieces and nephews.
