
Nick graduated from Bound Brook HS in New Jersey and attended the University of New Mexico. In 1960 he completed the Nuclear Weapons Assembly Program for the Defense Atomic Support Agency. He was attached to the 89th Ord. Ft. Sill, OK. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers and was lead engineer for Houdaille Ind. in New Jersey.
Nick enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, gardening and especially his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Helen Schultz of Bridgewater, NJ and his sister Helen Mary Schultz. He leaves behind his wife, Ann with whom they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in February; daughters, Juliann Giard and husband Fred of Bremerton, WA, Annemarie Wylie and husband Steve of Webster Groves, MO and son Nicholas Schultz III and wife Charmaine of Homosassa and seven grandchildren, Christine Kemp, Sarah Kemp, William Kemp, Dannielle Pittson, Hannah Wylie, Lucas Wylie and Nicholas Schultz IV.
Arrangements and cremation are being provided by Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa on November 5, 2010. A funeral service will be held at 5 pm. Family and friends will be received from 3PM until the hour of service. A full military funeral with Honors will be held at a future date.
