Patrick M. Daly

Patrick M. Daly, 86, of Homosassa, FL died Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born in Maspeth, New York, in the house in which he lived for 75 years , into a big, loving Irish family. He lived and worked as an Iron Worker in New York until he relocated to Homosassa, Florida permanently in 2013.

He was a devoted husband of the late Joanna Daly (nee Ferrari), father of Kathleen Mangiapanello, son-in-law Joseph, Theresa Daly, and beloved grandfather of Kristen.

Patrick was known for his quick wit, unparalleled storytelling, big personality, and the uproarious laughter that he brought with him wherever he went. He served in the United States Army and Reserves and loved his country fiercely. Patrick was also a lifelong, diehard Yankees baseball fan, despite growing up a stone's throw from Shea stadium.

Of all these, Patrick will be best remembered for the true and boundless love that he had for his family, friends, and those that touched his life. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial mass for Patrick will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 7040 S Suncoast Blvd, Homosassa, FL 34446.
