Raymond William Wells, 85 of Homosassa, FL died Sun., Oct. 23, 2011 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. He was born in Cleveland, OH and moved to Ft Myers, FL in 1989 from Willowick, OH and to Homosassa in 2005. Raymond was a retired machinist with the Cleveland Twist Drill Co., member of Bethel Lutheran Church of Willowick and a Marine Corps veteran. He enjoyed boating, fishing, was a licensed Ham Radio Operator and a member of AA since 1979.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Gretchen Wells and his parents Leonard and Maltilda (Goerndt) Wells.
Survived by 3 sons Ronald W. Wells of Concord, OH, Jeffrey A. Wells of Ashboro, NC and Scott K. Wells of Willoughby, OH; 6 grandchildren, Darlene, Laura, Tiffany, Scott, Jeremy and Ashley and 6 great-grandchildren Melanie, Samuel, Logan, Olivia, Emma and Sophie.
