To my big brother, Jim, I love you so much and will miss you, even though miles have separated us for much of our adult life, I will miss that I could at any time pick up the phone and talk to you. Now I am left with memories, so many wonderful memories and photos to spur them on. It's funny how time works as a sifter to remove the bad stuff and leave us with good and truly wonderful memories. You were my protector, I remember when I started grade school and was walking around the school at recess with a friend, and was stopped by a couple of much older boys who were going to teach us a lesson about crossing their part of the playground when almost immediately a third boy ran up to them and said "are you crazy, that's Jim Geers little brother". The next thing I knew they were all gone. I remember you taught me how to ride a bike. I wish you had taught me how to steer it first, but never the less, you did teach me. I'll miss you till we see each other again in heaven. I love you big brother, Jim.
