Pastor Ron’s glowing positive attitude was a true testament of his love and walk with the Lord. His caring of spiritual and physical needs of others, and especially the way he loved and cared for his wife Sharon and his church family will always be a fond memory and inspiration to us. He truly was a friend to all and I know Jesus calls him friend. He will be missed but not forgotten. Our love and prayers are with Sharon and the family. We just heard of his passing today, very sad day.

Pastor Ron's church was the world! His reach was far and wide - his telephone ministry unparalleled. Ron walked the talk, believing wholeheartedly that actions speak louder than words. His passion was feeding the hungry physically and spiritually. He never met a stranger, and would instantly become your best friend. He was a faithful, humble, passionate Christian man. While I celebrate his homecoming, I am sad that we must go on without him. God was good to Ron Hooper! As he would often say, "I'm blessed more than I deserve." When Pastor Ron called, you could count on being blessed by his words and fully informed on what was on his mind at that particular time. My heart hurts for his beautiful wife, Sharon, their children, and the church family at the Homosassa Church of God. Godspeed my good and faithful pastor-friend.

You have fought the good fight, You have finished the race, You have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to you on that Day, and not to you only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”

Rest In Peace Brother Ron! Prayers to your family who grieve today but look forward to seeing you again!
