Sara T. Dobbs, 76, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Sat., April 12, 2014 at her home. A native of Surgoinsville, TN, she was born Jan. 28, 1938 to Virgie and Asa (Smith) Christian, one of 12 children. Sara moved to Homosassa over 25 years ago and was a longtime employee of Walmart Stores in Homosassa and a member of Suncoast Baptist Church, also of Homosassa. She is survived by seven siblings: Rose Waterpool (husband Kent), James Christian (wife Magdalene), Clyde Stanifer, Stewart Christian (wife Virginia), Darrell Christian (wife Lynda), Marie Russell and Frankie Wood and numerous nieces and nephews. Sara was preceded in death by siblings Shereline, John, Roger and Franklin as well as brothers-in-law Robert Stanifer and O.M. Wood. Friends will be received on Wed., April 16, 2014 from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL, where a memorial service will take place at 7:30 P.M. with Pastor Tom Couric of Suncoast Baptist Church officiating.
