She was born Feb. 14, 1925 in Worcester, MA and moved to Homosassa 6 months ago from Sturbridge, MA. Shirley retired as an LPN from the Middlesex Hospital in Middlesex, CT. She was a member of the Emblem Club of Bellsfall, CT, avid Yankees Fan, enjoyed camping, traveling and crafts.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband Robert Hanson; sons Michael Coyle and Daniel Coyle.
She is survived by her son Stephen Coyle; daughter Christine (Norman) Bergeron of Homosassa; nieces Patricia (Bill) Kobel and Gloria (Ray) Troy Richards of Homosassa; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
