Steven Daniel Cyr

Steven Daniel Cyr, 48, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Tues., Nov. 5, 2013 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. A native of Providence, R.I., he was born Aug. 25, 1965 to Paul and Jane (Stuckey) Cyr, one of eight children. Mr. Cyr moved to Homosassa four years ago from Warwick, R.I. and was of the Roman Catholic faith. Steven was a former private security agent, serving with an agency that was responsible for the Newport, R.I. area. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Kelli E. (Ferguson) Cyr, Homosassa; daughter Kristen (Cyr) Orsini (husband Larry), Providence, R.I.; son Nolan Cyr and daughter Morgan Cyr, both of Homosassa; mother Jane Cyr, Vero Beach, FL; sister Helen Murphy, E. Providence, R.I.; brother Paul Cyr, Vero Beach, FL; brother William Cyr, Franklin, MA; sister Elizabeth Vivieros, Warwick, R.I.; brother David Cyr, Vero Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Paul Cyr (1992) and two siblings, Thomas Cyr and Joyce Atkins. A celebration of Steven’s life with be held in Rhode Island at a later date.
