Susan Marie Phillips

Susan Marie Phillips, age 62, of Homosassa, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she was born April 27, 1959 to George J. and Rosemarie J. (Macher) Swedlige, one of five children. Susan was a longtime resident of Citrus County, having moved here from her native Philadelphia in the late 1980's. In addition to being a lifelong loving homemaker, she was also a former Walmart and K.C. Crump employee and had also provided home health care for those who needed her. Susan's perfect day would most certainly include being outdoors, and she especially loved going to the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Grant Phillips and a brother, David Swedlige. She is survived by three children: Michelle Clemmons (husband J.D.), Michael Phillips and Brian Phillips, all of Homosassa; her former husband a father of her children, Wayne Phillips, also of Homosassa; three brothers: George Swedlige (wife Patti), Crystal River, FL; Stephen Swedlige and Richard Swedlige (wife Jill), both of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. www.wilderfuneral.com
