Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband Oscar Akers and sons Ronnie Williams and Jimmy Brown Jr. Remembered as a loving Mother, Grandma and gramma-gramma, She is survived by son Allen Poyner Sr. (Cheryl); daughter Wavey Wells (Dennis); grandsons Allen Poyner Jr. (Jennifer), Aaron Poyner (Jessica), Houston Poyner (Nicole), Jesse Wells, Cody Wells, Troy Wells and Sam Wells; Great-Granddaughters Alyssa, Brianna, Audrey, Scarlett, Rosalee Poyner; Great-Grandsons Damon, Carter and Aiden Wells.
A 5:00 pm Visitation will take place on Tues June 11, 2024 followed by a 5:30 pm Funeral Service. Both to take place at Macrini-Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL. Burial at Lee Memorial Park in Fort Myers, FL will take place at a later day.
