Theodore "Ted" N. Luz

Theodore “Ted” N. Luz, 91, of Inverness, FL, passed away on Mon., Aug. 29, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. A native of Abington, PA, he was born Oct. 30, 1924 to Theodore G. and Mary C. (Kraft) Luz, one of two children. Ted, as he was known to many, retired just six months ago from his financial planning firm, Advance Planning Center of Inverness, FL. He moved to Citrus County nearly 30 years ago from Clearwater and loved to work, read and go to the beach. Mr. Luz was a member of F & A M Masonic Lodge, Floral City, FL; was of the Baptist faith and his favorite season of the year was fall. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 20 years, Mary L. Luz, Inverness, FL. He and his wife Mary were blessed with a blended family of 10 children, 26 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren and addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard G. Luz. A memorial service will be held on Sat., Sept. 3, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Dunnellon, with Chaplain Kenneth Solly and Pastor Russ Randall officiating.
