Ah Choy Lee

A celebration of life will be held 6:00 pm, Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary, Vineyard Chapel, 1330 Maunakea St., Honolulu, HI 96817. Burial service is Monday, December 19, 3:00 pm, Hawaiian Memorial Park, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy., Kaneohe, HI 96744.

Born February 17, 1918 in Kalapana, Territory of Hawai'i, to Kam Lee and Wong Seu Lee. Ah Choy was preceded in death by siblings Ah Chun Lee, Ah Yau (John) Lee, and Ah Ngit (Rose) Ho. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Evelyn Chun Lee, daughter, Deborah Lee (Thomas J.) Payne of Hillsborough, CA, and son, Jeffrey Lee of Kaneohe, HI. He has several nieces and nephews.

An avid gardener, Ah Choy shared bountiful harvests with friends and family. He found joy in doing for others. Beloved husband, father, uncle, friend, Ah Choy was gentle and kind. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He truly lived a full life. May God always keep Ah Choy Lee in His love.
