Albert had a journey that many haven’t experienced. He graduated from Campbell High School in 1982. He then joined and served in the Army National Guard. His love for children inspired him to enroll in the University of Hawaii where he received his Bachelors Degree in teaching history. He also had the opportunity of being part of University of Hawaii cheerleading team. He moved to Japan, teaching English for (3)+ years which sparked his adoration for the people and the Japanese culture. He moved back to Oahu, and got a job with JBL Hawaii. He later proceeded with being employed with the Hilton Hawaiian Village for about 17 years. His love for our country encouraged him to reenlist in the United State Air Force Reserve where he served as an Air Cargo Specialist. The opportunities he had with the military took him to the Middle East, Japan and many other locations. He retired a few years ago as a Master Sergeant performing his duties wholeheartedly for 20 + years. The choice that he made with joining the military allowed for him to obtain a Masters Degree in Counseling through Chaminade College. He fulfilled his dream in teaching at several schools on Oahu, one of which was Moanalua High School. He also enjoyed his part time job on base as a lifeguard.
He had a deep passion for traveling, especially to Japan. He loved nature, music, animals, exercising, Karate and spending time with his family and friends.
