You left me too soon.  I am so glad you asked me to come when you did so I had that time with you.  I love you.

This message is to my father. I just want to say that I miss you so very much.  There are so many things I wish I would have asked or told you.  I have to live wit the hope that I told you how I felt enough. 

Alvin and I did a lot of plumbing and carpenter job's together.  We did a lot of fishing and hunting together and had a lot of fun. I remember we were fishing the Never Sink River.  Alvin got his new boat and motor.  The tide was going out and the motor stopped working. We started rowing for about half an hour and when we stopped we went nowhere so we went to the bank and started pulling the boat along the shore until we got back to the cat. We had a good time and headed home with no fish 

Al, you are my friend, lover and my husband. We have done so many things together, we stood on a mountain , we walked in the ocean and so many other things where you helped me or protected me. I will carry you in my heart until the day I die.

I knew Alvin for around 15 years, he's my neighbor.  I was lucky enough to see Alvin from time to time.  We shared conversations where he would explain to me how and what's the best way to kill the weed and where to get it.  One thing we always talk about was hunting.  I told him when he's ready I would take him to Molokai to get some deer but sadly we never went.  I know he's with God.  Alvin was a wonderful man and he loves his family.  May God bless him and his family.

Dad, you took a piece of my heart with you when you left.  A part of me will never be the same.  You were my teacher, my best friend, my dad and my hero.  I will continue to talk to you every day.  You are missed and thought of daily.  I will keep you with me in everything I do until I see you again.   Love you always, Carolyn!

Uncle Al, to say you will be missed is an understatement. You are one of the kindest souls I have ever known. Your heart was so big for your family, every last one of us. You loved big and we all felt it, a hug from you was strong and heartfelt, we felt every bit of that hug. You remembered my birthday and text me for Mother’s Day and I will never forget that. We loved you yesterday, today and forever. May you rest in peace and live in our hearts. We will miss you.
