August Amay, 76, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He was born in Haina, Hawaii. He was a retired Head Custodian for Aliamanu Intermediate School and retired from the U.S. Army.
He is survived by daughters,Duana (Robert) Saceldo, Maria (Alvin) Sugai, Bonny (Alex) Garcia; brother, Julio "Jimmy" Amay; brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Skaggs and 1 grand-daughter.
Funeral services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary at 1330 Maunakea Street on Thursday, July 26, 2012. Visitation is at 6:0pm. Services is at 7:00pm. Burial will be held at HawaiiState Veterans Cemetery, 45-349 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii on Friday, July 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
