Aurea Carlos was born on March 15, 1924 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She moved to Hawaii on March 18, 1966 at the age of 42 and lived on the island of Lana'i. She then got married to Juan Carlos and became a U.S. citizen on November 8, 1988. She volunteered at numerous places. She also loved gardening, playing ukulele, and dancing hula for the hospital and many community events. She was well known and loved by many. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.
