Blas L. Sabado, 75, of Honolulu, a retired Dole Cannery machinist, former crane operator/ship unloader for Briggs Pacific Ind., Inc. and veteran of the U.S. Army, died October 23, 2010 at Queens Medical Center. He was born in Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Tish; brothers, Frank Sabado and Richard Rossana; sisters, Teri Yanai and Josephine (Jim) Drake; many nieces and nephews. Visitation 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10th at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel; service 6:00 p.m.; burial will be on Tuesday, November 16th 11:00 a.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
