He was survived by his wife Maryangel Kanae-Turalde; daughters, Cheyangel Turalde, Waianuenue Turalde and Hokulani Gates; son, Cheyenne (Kela) Michael Lani Turalde Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, John Turalde, Kane Turalde and Kalani Akui. Numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
