Christopher Edward Gencarelli was born September 22, 1965 in Kailua, Hawaii. He died March 13, 2011.
An Eagle Scout, Christopher graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in Environmental Studies. He worked with indigenous plants and volunteered for many years with the Nature Conservancy.
He is survived by his parents, Joan and Edward Gencarelli, his sister and her husband, Elizabeth and John Simon, and his niece and nephew Kaleo and Dennery.
Memorial service will be held Friday, March 18,2011 at 9:30 am at Saint Mark Lutheran Church, Kaneohe.
