She was a long-time resident of Kaneohe, member of St. Ann’s Church, and OO Syak Gee Lu Society.
Mrs. Lum-Akana is survived by sons Lawrence (Larry) and Jerry, daughters Myra (Russell) Borges, Dayna Lum-Akana (Craig Lissauer), 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brother William (Willy) Chang, sister Mary Kano, nieces and nephews.
Daisy loved life by cooking, baking, sewing, doing things for her family and spending time with her family. She also loved watching UH Sports on TV. After retiring from the State of Hawaii Library System, she enjoyed outings and having lunch with her friends, often riding The Bus around the island together.
