Daniel graduated from Farrington High School and went on to own and operate Dan’s Restaurant Equipment Inc. He was a dedicated businessman and a cherished member of his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Luena Young Lum; his sons, Leslie Goon Tim Young and Lowen Goon Wah Young (Cheryl); his grandsons, Kevin Gee Keong Young and Shane Adam Gee Way Young (Lisa); his granddaughters, Nicole Eiko Mew Kien Yoshioka (Todd) and Dani Mew Lin Puanani Young; and his great grandchildren, Kira Kili’ohu Mew Wun Yoshioka, Emma Sumie Yoshioka, and Bodhi Daniel Yoshioka.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Borthwick Mortuary, Makai Chapel, 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817, on October 4, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Service at the same location on October 4, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Burial will take place at Manoa Lin Yee Chung Chinese Cemetery, 3430 E Manoa Rd, Honolulu, HI 96822, on October 4, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
