Former State Representative Mele Carroll passed away on February 18, 2015 ending her battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Warren Carroll; daughter, Kai'ulani Angel; mother, Magnolia "Maggie" Soares; brothers, Wayne (Celene) Soares and Jason (Lori) Soares; sisters, Rosalynn (Rober) Nuuanu and Kahealani Soares, uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She left us too soon. She will be missed and never forgotten.
Funeral services will be held on March 6, 2015 at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea/Vineyard Chapels and on March 15, 2015 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului, Maui. On March 6, visitation will be held at 4pm and service will begin at 6pm. On March 15, visitation will be held at 9am and service will begin at 11am. Burial to follow at Valley Isle Memorial Park at 3:30pm.
Casual or Hawaiian attire.
Family request no flowers.
She asked that donations received be held in trust for her daughter.
