Dolores “DeeDee” “Dolly” Lovell, 93, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Patrick Vernon Lovell Sr., and her parents, Erenia Lapining and Juan Palencia. Dolores was a devoted mother to her children, a cherished grandmother/tutu, beloved“Aunty” and friend to so many.
Dolores is survived by daughters Stephanie Quison (Benny), Patti White (Rick deceased), Debbie Martin (El), and Jan Lovell (Joaquin deceased) and son Patrick “Sun” Lovell Jr. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel 1330 Maunakea Street, in Honolulu. Visitation is at 9:30am, with the service starting at 10:30am, and lunch to follow.
Dolores will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific 2177 Puowaina Drive, Honolulu at 1:00pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
