Resident of Kaneohe, Hawaii
Passed away peacefully from natural causes at her home with her family by her side.
Married in 1956 to Joseph T.K. Chong. She was a graduate of McKinley High School. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dot loved everyone and never had a negative thought about anybody. She loved family gatherings and found great joy in cooking the family meals. Dot was very instrumental in raising her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Among other jobs, she was a long time employee of International Inflight Catering Corporation.
She had a great sense of humor and loved to “try” to retell jokes she heard. Her excitement would get the better of her and she would deliver the punch line before the end of the joke. That alone was funnier than the joke itself.
In her life Dot had many interests some of which were gardening roses, ceramics, learning to make different canapés and knitting. Having worked as a babysitter for many years she had a great interest and love of children. Dot was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph T.K. Chong.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph, Ronald and Robert, three grandchildren and seven grandchildren.
