Dorothy Hisako Yoshii, 82, of Aiea, died on May 12, 2026. Born in Hilo, she was a retired Mauka Lani Elementary School teacher who enjoyed cross-stitching, puzzles, watching UH volleyball games, traveling to Japan, and joining Newtown classes and activities with her friends. She is survived by her son, Alton; daughter Alette Yoshii-Ho; son-in-law Brandon Ho, grandsons Ethan and Logan; brother Tad Saito; and sister Joanne Tepper.
