In loving memory of Edna P. Lopes, 95, who passed away at a Honolulu Residential Care Home on June 3, 2026.

She was born on April 14, 1931 in Kapaa, Kauai, resided in Waianae for many years, and later relocated to Honolulu. Edna was a housewife, who was devoted to caring for her family and ministering in music and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to kūpuna in convalescent and nursing home facilities in her later years. She loved to sing and worship her Lord Jesus Christ.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert F. Lopes, Jr., her son, Lester Lopes, and her daughter, Tammy Chun.

She is survived by daughters, Stephanie Uejio, Raynette Lopes, and Melissa Rogne (John); 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary – Mauka Chapel on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Visitation from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Service at 11:00 AM.

Burial to follow at 2:00 PM at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
