ELEANOR YOK GNIN “AUNTY MUI” LUM, 97 of Honolulu, passed away December 3, 2011 at her residence. Born June 23, 1914 in Honolulu, she was a homemaker and an avid crafter who loved to knit. She had a good life and will be missed.
She is survived by daughters, Lenette B.M. Tam and Lynn Lum; grandchildren, Maile Ho and David Tam; great-grandchildren, Jacelyn Ho and Jodie Ho, Mikayla Tam and Evan Tam; brothers, Bernard Yuen and David Yuen; sisters, Bessie Young, Loretta Loo, Leilani Mau, Peace Wong; many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering and Service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Borthwick Mortuary-Mauka Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception in her honor. Lei are welcome, and casual attire is suggested.
