She is survived by daughter, Valerie MacBride (Steve); sons, Steven Chaves and Allen Chaves; two grandchildren, Deanna Tasaka (Ross) and Leland Reames; three great-grandchildren, Joseph King, Riley Tasaka and Ainsley Tasaka.
Funeral services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary, Mauka Chapel at 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817on November 20, 2012. Visitation is at 5:30p.m. Service is at 6:30p.m. Burial will be held at National Cemetery of the Pacific at 2177 Puowaina Drive, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 on November 21, 2012 at 8:30 AM.
