FRANCES SUI LAN TYAU, age 92, beloved daughter of the late Henry and Hannah (nee Aiau) Tyau and sister of the late Gertrude Tyau, passed away July 11, 2012 in New York. Born In Honolulu, Hawaii, she was a retired state DOE teacher and a retired Buffalo State College professor. She is survived by brother, Allen (Nancy) Tyau of Hawaii; sisters, Hannah Sanders and Lillian Tyau of Hawaii, Kathryn Ramones of California; nephews, Edward and John Ramones, Craig and Michael Tyau; nieces, Iwalani Sanders and Leanne Philipovich; great-nephews and great-nieces.
Private services and interment will be at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Kaneohe, Hawaii.
